2 years back, I completed the Everest Base Camp trek in a private group of 4 of us. From the very beginning of the trip, Ram was extremely welcoming and helpful. He clearly explained everything in relationship to the trek and was knowledgeable when it came to discussing the cultural significance of different areas along the trek. About a week into the trek, I started to suffer from signs of altitude sickness. Ram and his team were immediately aware of this and took every action to try and ensure I was able to safely continue the trek. Ultimately, however, my condition worsened to the point where it was clear I wouldn't be able to continue. Ram looked after me by coordinating with the lodge that I was staying at to provide me oxygen supply. He also checked up on me at regular intervals during the night to make sure I was ok. Ram also organize a helicopter to evacuate me. Ram and his team are a friendly bunch and also care deeply about their passengers. I highly recommend them as your choice of tour guides for any trekking experience out in Nepal.

Ram was the perfect guide for our trip. When one of our party wasn’t feeling well he knew exactly what was required and sorted the whole situation. He is the guy you want in an emergency.

Back in April 2019, we went on a brilliantly organized trip with Ram as our guide. He was knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and insightful into the Nepali culture as well as tell us stories and tales of the mountains. He was also extremely helpful when one of our party started to develop severe altitude sickness and helped organize a helicopter transfer back to the capital with minimal fuss. This was the trip of a lifetime and huge thanks to Ram for making it so.
