How can I book a trip with Heaven Himalaya?

Step 1: Select the Package.

Step 2: Complete the Reservation Form. Scan your copy of your passport and submit it to us.

Step 3: Make a minimum of 20% Down Payment.

First, visit the packages or the activities section in the header menu. Then choose your desired package. After you click the title, you will be redirected to your desired package page. You can now use the booking button on the package page to redirect to a booking form. Then, you will fill in your details with the number of travelers accompanying you in the form and select submit. After you submit the information, deposit 20% of the total trip cost in Heaven Himalaya’s account. Here’s how you can make a payment.

Can I book a trip on behalf of my friends and family?

Yes, you can make a booking for everyone, But, you have to fill in the details of the person who is traveling while filling in the booking form. After you book the trip, you should at least deposit 20% of the total trip cost. The deposit amount will get permits in your name and arrange logistics for the trip.

How do I know if my booking is confirmed?

After you make a booking, you will receive a confirmation email from Heaven Himalaya. Then, you have to pay a 20% deposit of the total cost of your booked trip. After you pay the amount and our team confirms the receipt, your booking status will be confirmed and you will be informed via email.

How much is the minimum deposit I should make to confirm the trip booking?

After you book the trip, you should at least make a deposit of 20% of the total trip cost. The deposit amount will get permits in your name and arrange logistics for the trip.

Can I add other side trips and hotel stays after the booking is made?

Yes, you can add any other side trips and hotel stays if you have enough time. Just write an email to us or communicate with us via phone. We will then help you organize the other trips that were not included in the itinerary. Kindly note that you should pay for side trips or extra hotel stays arranged at your request.

Can I reschedule my trip after booking?

If you want to reschedule your trip, you should write to Heaven Himalaya at least 15 days prior to the start date of the trip. You will then be able to reschedule the trip depending on your needs for free. Sometimes, if arrangements have already been made here, we may charge you a small fee for the rescheduling.

How can I cancel my travel booking and get a refund?

If you want to cancel your booking, you should email us with the reason for the cancellation and our team will assist you with the process. If you have paid the full amount, the remaining amount, except the 20% cancellation charge, will be refunded to your account. However, you can reschedule the trip for the future without having to pay an extra fee.

Are the activity times in my time zone or the activity’s time zone?

The time for the activity is based on the time zone of the region where we host the activity.

Trip Postponement:

Can I postpone my trip?

Yes, you can postpone your trip, but you must communicate via email a minimum of 15 days before the departure date.

What will happen to amount paid earlier if I postpone my trip?

In the event of postponement, we will transfer the remaining amount paid earlier to your coming trip.

Payment and Receipts:

Is my payment secure?

Yes, your payment is secure. We use the payment gateways provided by the national banks, which are very secure. If you make the bank transfer, your details will be sent to the bank’s servers, which are much more secure. And if you choose to use your credit card, your card details are tokenized, and stored securely within our payment gateways provided by the bank itself.

Can I pay in cash?

Yes, you can pay the remaining amount in cash. But we only accept American dollars or the Nepalese currency. If you carry other currencies, we can help you use money exchanges in Nepal.

What payment methods can I use?

You can choose to use a bank transfer or a credit card. Check how to make a payment.

What currencies does Heaven Himalaya accept?

Heaven Himalaya accepts payment in American dollars (USD) and also in Nepalese currency. Payment in other currencies should be communicated with the Heaven Himalaya.

How do I pay the remaining amount?

The remaining amount can be paid earlier or after you arrive in Nepal. You have the option of using a bank transfer or swiping credit cards in the card swiping machines.

Booking Changes:

How can I change my booking once it is confirmed?

After you make a booking, all the arrangements for permits and logistics will be arranged at an early date. So, if you have to make any changes, you should communicate with us at least 15 days prior to the trip start date.

How do I remove participants from my team after booking?

You can simply email us the total number of travelers and send us the names of the people to be excluded via email.

Trip Cancellation and Refunds:

How can I cancel my trip?

You can cancel your trip by just sending an email to us about the reasons for the trip cancellation. Then our team will assist you with the refund process.

What do I do if I am late for my booked activity?

If you are late for the booked activity, you can reschedule the trip again. But, the deposited amount won’t be transferred to the next trip as it will already be utilized to arrange transport, permits, and other services.

Will I be charged if I cancel my booking?

For adventure activities, permits and logistics should be arranged at an early date. So, we also have to cancel the schedules and the paid permits if you cancel your trip. For that reason, we take 20% of the total booking amount as a cancellation fee. If you don’t want us to charge you, you can reschedule your trip to new available dates.

What do I do if my cancellation is because of unseen circumstances?

If your cancellation is because of unseen circumstances verified by the Heaven Himalaya team, your paid amount will be transferred to the next trip you book with us. If it’s over 20%, you will be refunded or transferred to the next booking you make with Heaven Himalaya.

How do I get a refund after I cancel my booking?

After you cancel your booking, the cost you have paid will be transferred to your credit card or the bank account, deducting the cancellation fee of 20%.

Food and Hotel:

What if I don’t like food?

You will have a complete menu of food items to choose from. If you don’t like one, you can go with the other. Or if the complete menu fails to satisfy you, you can ask your trip guide to look for an alternative.

Can I add extra days to the booked itinerary?

Yes, you can add extra days to the itinerary. If you have to add extra days, we recommend you add them to the last. Sometimes, we might have to change the itinerary because of unseen circumstances such as weather. So, during that time, the extra days will be very helpful to complete the trip.

During Activity:

Do I have to tip drivers, porters, and guides?

Tipping is a choice. We don’t mention it as a compulsory thing, but tips are expected in Nepal.

Will there be someone to pick me up at the airport?

Yes, a representative of Heaven Himalaya will be there to pick you up at the airport. He will welcome you and transfer you to your booked hotel in the respective cities.

Gears and Equipment:

Does Heaven Himalaya provide some gears?

Yes, Heaven Himalaya provides a sleeping bag and a duffel bag, which you have to return to us after use.

Where can I get trekking gear?

You can buy your trekking gear in your home country. If you can’t find anything or it’s expensive, then you can get it in Nepal. Our guide will help you buy gear if you don’t know the right shops.

Others:

Do the trip guides speak English?

Yes, all the trip guides we use are certified and can speak English.

Are the trekking guides of Heaven Himalaya trained?

Heaven Himalaya only uses trained trekking guides for their trips. Besides, the guides we use are all licensed by the National Tourism Board of Nepal.

Do I get any certification for completing the treks in Nepal?

Yes, you will get a trip completion certificate from Heaven Himalaya after you complete your journey.

Do I have to carry everything by myself during trekking?

No, you will have a porter to carry your things while trekking. You just have to carry your personal bag with important things such as gadgets and money. You can be kept in the duffel bag provided by Heaven Himalaya, which will be carried by a porter. He will walk with you on the trails.
