Deana C Great Trek with Heaven Himalaya!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 16 day EBC trek thanks to the organized Heaven Himalaya tour! We chose the luxury option to avoid some of the scarier toilets 😂 we’d seen photos of online and are pleased to report we never had too rough of an experience! The company was informative, flexible and kind. Our guide Shankar was very helpful to adjust our schedule and find accommodation alternatives that we might enjoy better on the fly!The only thing we weren’t warned of ahead of time (we think the itinerary was just outdated) is that flights to Lukla are no longer operating out of Kathmandu. So it was a surprise the day before that we had to take a 3am 5-hour car ride to get to an airport that does fly to Lukla. And when the weather was bad (out of their control of course but turns out to be more frequent than not), we were stuck with a pricey helicopter ride so that we didn’t upset our tight schedule. While inconvenient and a bit frustrating in the moment, we realize we would hav…
Best Season for the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek
The best season for the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek is generally spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). These months offer stable weather, clear mountain views, comfortable daytime temperatures, and better trekking conditions along the Everest trail. Spring is especially beautiful with blooming rhododendrons, while autumn is known for crisp skies and excellent visibility of Everest and the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Although the trek can be arranged in other seasons, spring and autumn are the most recommended for a comfortable and scenic luxury Everest Base Camp trek.
