Important: When booking a trek/tour, it is important to verify that the company you are going with is a legally registered company under the laws of the Nepal government, licensed by the ministries, Nepal Tourism Board, and a member of trekking associations such as TAAN. Booking with an unlicensed company may jeopardize your best interest and safety. In the worst-case scenario, it may even endanger your life should any untoward incidents occur. One such example would be without a licensed company guarantee, as it may hamper the arrangement of helicopter rescue services during an emergency evacuation. Hence, we urged you not to take risks with unlicensed operators.
