Namche Bazaar is the best tourist destination en route to majestic mountains like Mt. Everest in Sagarmatha National Park. Trekkers use it as an acclimatization stop for Everest Base Camp Trek by walking up to Hotel Everest View (3880m) which offers a spectacular view of Mt. Everest.

Namche Bazaar is densely populated by Sherpas. And, tourism is their principal business. Though a business might be their reason for sustenance, they are some of the most humble people ever. The essence is reflected in their behaviors, culture, lifestyle, and open-mindedness. This popular Sherpa-dominated place always welcomes “guests as Gods” with gladsome hospitality as their cultural inheritance.
