Everest Region lies within Sagarmatha National Park in the Solukhumbu District of Nepal. Situated at an elevation of 5,364 meters (17,598 feet), it serves as the starting point for mountaineers attempting to climb Mount Everest during the spring climbing season.

Interesting Fact: Although EBC Trek is one of the Nepal's most famous trekking destinations, the actual summit of the Mount Everest is not visible from the Base Camp itself, trekkers usually hike up to Kalapatthar for up-close view of Everest.
