Ganesh Dahal

Ganesh Dahal is an experienced trekking guide and porter working with Heaven Himalaya, based in Kathmandu, Nepal. With more than 20 years of experience in Nepal’s trekking and adventure tourism industry, he has developed extensive practical knowledge of the country’s diverse landscapes, trekking routes, and mountain regions.

Ganesh has been a valued member of the Heaven Himalaya team since March 2022. During his time with the company, he has supported and accompanied travelers on trekking journeys across different regions of Nepal, gaining firsthand experience with a wide range of Himalayan trails and landscapes. His long-standing experience in the field allows him to understand the demands of trekking and provide reliable support to travelers throughout their journey.

Over the course of his career, Ganesh has traveled through various trekking regions of Nepal, including Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit with Poon Hill and Kanchenjunga Base Camp, giving him broad knowledge of different trails, local environments, and the communities along the routes. His experience as both a guide and porter has also provided him with a strong understanding of the practical aspects of trekking, including carrying equipment, supporting guests on challenging sections of trails, and assisting with the smooth operation of trekking journeys.

With more than two decades of experience in the trekking industry and several years with Heaven Himalaya, Ganesh continues to contribute his knowledge and practical experience to travelers exploring the mountains of Nepal. His career reflects a long-standing connection with Nepal’s trekking routes and the adventure tourism industry.
