Born in the village of Solukhumbu, in the Everest region, he started gaining trekking, hiking, and expedition experience from a young age. He is now a member of the Heaven Himalaya family and contributes to the business.

Tilak began his career as a porter in the foothills of Mount Everest. Before he was hired as a guide, he had already completed hundreds of Everest Base Camp Treks. Tilak now works as an expert guide for the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal, such as Annapurna, Everest, and many more.
