Niraj Shrestha is one of our important employees. He works as a medical assistant and looks after the medical issues of our clients related to altitude sickness and health emergencies. 

Niraj is also a pharmacist with detailed knowledge of medicines and their uses. Before Heaven Himalaya, Niraj used to work as a pharmacist at Shree Birendra Hospital, a renowned hospital owned by the Nepal Army.

After his 3 years in an army hospital, he worked in a similar role at the Gurkha Welfare Trust, which looks after the health of the retired military personnel who served in the British Army as Gurkhas.

Here at Heaven Himalaya, Niraj Shrestha looks after the health of trekkers who plan to undergo high-altitude trekking and expeditions. By now, he has successfully handled several customers and clients as a medical consultant with his excellent knowledge of medicines.

He is very much appreciated by clients for his versatility and for being informative about possible health hazards and their precautions.

When Niraj isn’t at work, he spends time reading books and watching football games.
