Ganesh is one of our prominent trekking guides, famous for his humble personality.
Mr. Ganesh has been working in the adventure tourism sector since his late twenties. He started as a porter for a family expedition group about two decades ago, and he is now a well-known senior tourist guide. Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek and the Annapurna region trips are some of the high-altitude treks he now specializes in.
Ganesh has received tourism training in a variety of areas, including trekking guide training from the Nepal government; intensive wilderness first aid training from the Kathmandu Environmental Education Project; conservation and biodiversity training from the Training Trekking Agency Association of Nepal (TAAN); and basic rock and ice climbing training from the Nepal Mountaineering Association.
As an experienced trekking leader, Ganesh is a good fit for large-group trekking expeditions. His polite nature and “happy-to-share” type of person have made him famous among other staff as well. He always has some experience to share and makes everyone keen on his adventures. So, if you have him as your trekking guide in Nepal, he will impress you with his cheerful and gentle personality.
When Ganesh isn’t trekking, you can find him in his own home relaxing and watching adventure vlogs and travel movies.
